New York Buzz Tripped Up by Boston

The New York Buzz fell to the Boston Lobsters 23-14 Saturday in World TeamTennis play.

Sloane Stephens again played well scoring the only set for the Buzz in a 5-3 singles win over Stephanie Foretz.

The Lobsters were led by Racquel Kops-Jones who won both her matches in mixed doubles and in women’s doubles.

The loss drops the Buzz to 4-7 on the year, but the team remains in the playoff hunt with three matches remaining. The Buzz travel to NY today, then to Washington Tuesday before facing Boston in the season finale on Wednesday.
