Kastles Clip Buzz, Navratilova in Albany Tuesday

The Washington Kastles defeated the New York Buzz 19-15 Sunday afternoon in the nation’s capital.

The Kastles dominated the Buzz in men’s doubles play behind former No. 1 and Grand Slam champion Leander Paes. The Buzz were led by the continued strong play from Sloane Stephens. The 16-year-old Stephens won the singles then teamed with Mallory Burdette to win the women’s doubles.

The Buzz travel Monday before returning to the court Tuesday night to welcome tennis legend Martina Navratilova to the SEFCU Arena. Tickets are still available by calling 518-378-BUZZ. Don’t miss a chance to see this tennis great battle America’s next great tennis stars.
