Buzz Back in Win Column, Edge Explorers

The New York Buzz notched their second win of the season following a thrilling 22-20 victory over the Kansas City Explorers Friday night in Missouri.
The Buzz were led by Alex Domijan who won sets in men’s singles and in men’s doubles. Sloane Stephens and Mallory Burdette also won the mixed doubles.
The 6-foot-7 big-serving Domijan teamed with local Kansas City high school standout Jack Sock to maintain a one game lead entering the final match of the evening, the men’s doubles. Domijan/Sock came through claiming the set in a tiebreak 5-4 to seal the win.
The Buzz improve to 2-4 on the season. They travel to Washington Sunday before returning home to host tennis legend Martina Navratilova and her Boston Lobsters on Tuesday night. Tickets for Martina night are still available by calling 518-378-BUZZ (2899).
