Buzz Suffer First Loss, Host Sportimes Monday Night

The NY Buzz suffered their first loss of the season falling to the Boston Lobsters 25-14 Sunday afternoon in Albany.

Former Buzz Bryanne Stewart and Raquel Kops-Jones led the Lobsters. Former Albany Academy star Matt Kandath again played for the Buzz, as did Wimbledon junior quarterfinalist Alex Domijan.

The defending World TeamTennis champion Buzz will welcome the NY Sportimes tomorrow night to the SEFCU Arena on the campus of Albany University. The Sportimes are led by American Robert Kendrick who took a set off Andy Murray in an exciting first round at Wimbledon.

On Thursday, five-time Wimbledon champion Venus Williams will be in town. Tickets for Venus night or for the July 14 Martina Navratilova night are still available by calling 518-378-BUZZ (2899). Please come out and support the Buzz at the SEFCU Arena.
