Venus Williams bids for her 6th career Wimbledon title tomorrow against her sister, Serena. Venus, the five-time Wimbledon champ, will be in Albany next week on July 9 at the SEFCU Arena on the Albany University campus.

Venus won on Thursday easily defeating World No. 1 Dinara Safina 6-1, 6-0. The victory was Venus’s 20th straight Wimbledon match win which includes a 35 set win streak.

Venus and Serena have split their 20 previous meetings but Venus did beat her younger sister in the Wimbledon final a year ago 7-5, 6-4.
