Two days after beating Serena Williams and the Washington Kastles 22-21 at the Armory, the Buzz fell to Kastles by the same score in Washington Friday night. The Kastles, who were without Serena, were paced by former ATP Top 20 player Robby Ginepri, a fill-in for the suspended Justin Gimelstob.

Ginepri, a former semifinalist at the US Open, won the final men’s singles over Nathan Healey, and then blanked Healey 3-0 in overtime to tie the match and set up the supertiebreak. Ginepri remained strong taking the breaker 7-4 and the match.

The 4-2 Buzz now travel up to Boston to face the Lobsters Saturday night before returning home Sunday evening to welcome the Philadelphia Freedoms and WTA doubles star Lisa Raymond to CDPHP Court at the Armory.
