The 2008 NY Buzz season opens tonight at the Delaware Smash. The Buzz will be lead by new singles star Yaroslava Shvedova and Nathan Healey in what promises to be another exciting season in the Capital District.

The Buzz open their home campaign on July 6 as they welcome Jan-Michael Gambill and his Boston Lobsters to the Albany Armory.

Of course the big event is less than a week away when Serena Williams, who is in the Wimbledon finals following her straight-set win today over Jie Zheng, makes her long-awaited return to Albany next Wednesday night when her Washington Kastles battle the Buzz.

Tickets for any of the Buzz matches including Serena on July 9 and Anna Kournikova night on July 22 are on sale now by calling the Armory box office at 518-694-7160 ext. 26 or by ringing 518-378-BUZZ.
