July 29 - The NY Buzz fell to the Sacramento Capitals Sunday night in the 2007 World Team Tennis championships match.

The Buzz fought hard it wasn't enough in the end against the home team Caps who won the match and their sixth league title with a 24-20 overtime win. The Buzz notched their lone win of the night in the last set as Ashley Fisher and Rik de Voest gave the Buzz a win in the men's doubles, but the Sacramento tandem of Mark Knowles and Sam Warburg sealed the victory with an opening service hold.

The Buzz's De Voest’s performance throughout the WTT Championship Weekend earned him WTT Finals MVP honors.
