July 22 - The NY Buzz won their third consecutive match to remain in the first place following a thrilling 19-16 win over rival NY Sportimes. The match was knotted at 14 heading into the final set, in which the Buzz mixed doubles tadem Rik De Voest and Greta Arn came up big with a 5-2 set win sealing the win. The Buzz remain alone in first place in the Eastern Conference at 7-5, and now head to Boston Tuesday before a return home Wednesday night to face the Delaware Smash in the season finale. A win either Tuesday or Wednesday would clinch a playoff berth for the Buzz.
