July 25 -- The NY Buzz finished 2006 on an up note with an exciting 22-17 win over the Springfield Lasers Tuesday night in the season finale. The Buzz got a strong performance from Viktoria Kutuzova and Scott Lipsky who overcame a 4-0 deficit in singles to force a tiebreak. The Buzz finish the year 5-9 having won three of their last five matches including a win on July 19 over Venus Williams and her Philadelphia Freedoms. Thanks to all the fans, sponsors and team staff for making 2006 another successful Buzz season. See you next year!
