 July 8 -- The NY Buzz returned Schenectady following a successful opening three-game road schedule during which the Buzz went 2-1. Saturday night the Buzz went to overtime in a 19-17 thriller over the Delaware Smash. Scott Lipsky paced the Buzz scoring two 5-1 sets, in singles and in doubles with KC Corkery. The women's doubles team of Viktoriya Kutuzova and Julie Ditty also came up big for the Buzz with a 5-3 set win. The result comes a day the Buzz lost 25-7 to the Hartford FoxForce. Sunday night the Buzz open their home season against Ashley Harkleroad and the New York Sportimes.
