July 6 -- The NY Buzz opened their 2006 season with a thrilling 22-21 win over the host Boston Lobsters. The Buzz began the evening dropping two of the first three sets, with Scott Lipsky coming through with a 5-4 singles win. Down 14-12 with two sets remaining the Buzz rallied in the fourth as Julie Ditty and Scott Lipsky scored a 5-3 win to level the match. In the final set Ditty again came through teaming with singles star Viktoriya Kutuzova to beat Nicole Pratt and Kristian Schlukebir 5-4 to clinch the Buzz win. The 1-0 Buzz now travel to Hartford to meet the FoxForce Friday night.
