 April 30 -- In addition to an oustanding 2006 roster which is led by teen phenom Viktoriya Kutuzova, the Buzz will play host to many of the best in tennis this summer. The summer schedule is highlighted by Wimbledon champion Venus Williams who will make her first Schenectady appearance when her Philadelphia Freedoms come to town on July 19. Also be sure to check out veteran American Top 20 players Lisa Raymond and Meghann Shaughnessy this summer. Raymond will join the Freedoms in their July 12 visit while Shaughnessy will be the anchor for the Hartford FoxForce squad on July 24. Current world No. 14 Anna-Lena Groenefeld will strut her talents along with American favorite Jan-Michael Gambill when the Houston Wranglers visit Central Park on July 21. And in the final home match of the season, 2005 Junior champion Victoria Azarenka will test our own Viktoriya in a battle of two of the brightest stars on the WTA.
