July 23 - In their final match of the season, the NY Buzz were defeated by the Springfield Lasers 24-18 Saturday night. The home Lasers won four of the five sets as Kelly McCain and Kasie Smashey scored two wins apiece. The lone set win for the Buzz came when Jaymon Crabb and Brian Vahaly teamed for a men's doubles victory. The Buzz end the 2005 season with a 5-9 record. Thanks to all the fans and sponsors for making 2005 another terrific season. We'll see you next year!
