 July 22 - The Kansas City Explorers won the final set of the night to squeak out a 18-17 victory over the visiting NY Buzz. Behind the strength of singles wins from Brian Vahaly and Evie Dominikovic, the Buzz led the Explorers 14-13 entering the last set. But the KC tandem of David MacPherson and Brian MacPhie rallied in men's doubles to post a 5-3 set win and led the Explorers team to victory. The 5-8 Buzz travel to Springfield in their season finale on Saturday.
