July 9 - The NY Buzz fell to 0-2 on the road after losing to the Hartford FoxForce 19-18 Saturday night. Paced by Brian Vahaly's 5-1 triumph over Wesley Whitehouse, the Buzz began the match strong leading 14-9 after three sets of play. But the Buzz faltered in the last two women's matches as former WTA Top 20 Meghann Shaughnessy helped the FoxForce claim the doubles then clinched the win with a 5-2 victory in singles. The Buzz get a rest day on Sunday before welcoming Martina Hingis and her NY Sportimes to town on Monday night.
