 July 23 -- The road doesn't seem to be a nice place as the NY Buzz suffered their second straight loss away from MVP Stadium falling Friday night to the Springfield Lasers 24-17. The Lasers were paced by Kristen Schlukebir who won in women's singles and in women's doubles. The lone bright spot for the Buzz was the play of Justin Bower and Shaun Rudman, who won in men's doubles. In her two doubles matches, tennis legend Martina Navaratilova lost by identical 5-3 scores. The Buzz fall to 5-8 on the season and close the year in Sacramento Sunday night.
