July 22 -- A day after winning in thrilling fashion in overtime, the Buzz on Thursday night fell in a nailbiter 23-19 to the St. Louis Aces. The Buzz never lead in the match, but were kept in the hunt behind strong play from Justin Bower, who won in with Martina Navratilova in mixed doubles, but couldn't fight off Brian Wilson in the overtime period in singles competition. With the loss, the Buzz fall to 5-7 and now travel to Springfield on Friday night to face the Lasers.
