 July 21 -- The NY Buzz ended their 2004 home campaign with a thrilling 22-19 win over the Harftord FoxForce. For the packed 2,200+ crowd on hand, it was quite a rollercoaster of an evening, which featured the lone appearance by tennis legend Martina Navratilova. The Buzz seemed in control early after posting back-to-back doubles wins to lead 14-9 after three sets. But the FoxForce stormed back taking a hard-fought women's singles match to close within four. In the finale, it was up to Navratilova and Justin Bower to seal the deal, but Hartford claimed the set and sent in into overtime, where Bower finally ended the Hartford run with a service winner. The Buzz end their home season and now hit the road with an eye on the a playoff spot.
