 July 15 -- Martina Navratilova made her 2004 World Team Tennis debut, but the addition of the 58-time Grand Slam winner on the Buzz was not enough to overcome the Philadelphia Freedoms as NY fell 23-18. The Buzz got off to a promising start as Justin Bower won his singles match and teamed with Shaun Rudman to win in doubles to give NY a slight lead. But in women's play, the Freedom's Lisa Raymond was too tough for Martina posting a 5-3 singles win and a clinching 5-1 win in doubles as she teamed with Elena Tartarkova to defeat Navratilova and Kutuzova.
