 Just a day after notching their first win of the season, the Buzz again fell back in the loss column losing to the Hartford FoxForce 23-20. It was another tight affair, as the Buzz took the opening set thanks to emerging star Shenay Perry's upset win over Top 20 Meghann Shaughnessy. But the FoxForce never trailed again as Shaughnessy picked herself back up to win the doubles and mixed doubles competitions. The contest remained tight in the end, but Justin Bower and Don Johnson could not prevail over Tarango and Stephen Huss in the tiebreak.
