In yet another nail biter, the Buzz suffered their third straight loss falling to the NY Sportimes in Westchester 20-19. The Buzz, led by six-time Grand Slam winner Boris Becker, trailed by just one point heading into the deciding mixed doubles. Becker again joined forces with rising youngster Shenay Perry to win the set 5-4 and force a super tiebreak. But the Sportimes duo of Ellis Ferreira and Bea Bielek proved too strong and took the breaker 7-5 and the match. John McEnroe also played for the Sportimes registering an important5-4 win over arch rival Becker in the singles play. Becker will get inducted in the Tennis Hall of Fame this weekend, and will rejoin the Buzz at Philadelphia on Monday.
