Just two days after falling in the season opener by the slimmest of margins, the NY Buzz again suffered a heartbreaking setback, this time to the Hartford FoxForce Wednesday night at MVP Stadium. Boris Becker's Schenectady debut was not enough as the FoxForce prevailed 21-19 thanks to the steady play of former Top 20 Meghann Shaughnessy, who helped her Hartford team win the final three sets. Becker, making his WTT debut, played well winning both singles and doubles, but along with youngster Shenay Perry, couldn't pull out the a tight mixed doubles affair in the decider.
