American superstar Andy Roddick continues to prove he is one of the game's top players and a serious Wimbledon threat as on Sunday he defeated Sebastien Grosjean to capture the prestigious Queen's title for his second tournament win in three events. Roddick, who will play at MVP Stadium on July 11, defeated Andre Agassi in the semifinals on Saturday, during which the 20-year-old Boca resident cracked a record-tying 149-mph serve. Wow! Now, not only in Roddick one of the most promising and charismatic stars on the tour, but he's also the fastest server. Fans in Schenectady will have the rare treat to see him play on July 11 as the NY Buzz host Roddick's St. Louis Aces squad. Tickets are available at 518-378-BUZZ.
